• What’s with the “Great North”? Well, you will definitely experience “great” when you’re here. And “north” because the hotel is in northern Germany, north of Hamburg and in north Kaltenkirchen, north of the HolstenTherme and our address is in Norderstrasse. Sometimes, names really are pretty self-explanatory.
   
• 25 Traveller Rooms, 27 Great Rooms, 8 Club Rooms, 3 Family Rooms – all imbued with wonderful British style.
   
• All our rooms have a similar British charm, but they differ in size and location within the hotel. All are special, but the Club Rooms are even more special. But we’re certain that all you connoisseurs out there have already spotted that. If you know, you know!

• There are 60 free parking spaces around the hotel. If you’re coming from Dubai, you can also use the numerous car parks at the HolstenTherme for your Rolls-Royce collection. Because we're generous like that.
   
• Recharge your electric vehicle at several rapid charging stations (200 Kw) nearby and 25 Kw charging stations in the HolstenTherme car park (around the corner).
   
• Got camper friends who want to join you? Our motorhome pitches within waving distance are perfect for holidays together.

There’s only one answer to that: dogs are just as welcome as their human friends!

We are delighted to welcome cheerful, well-behaved humans, non-smelly humans, humans that don’t lie in the way and humans that get on nicely with other humans. The same applies to dogs. If all of those boxes are ticked, then our doors are wide open for them! Having a difficult time and struggling to behave? Don’t worry – we’ll simply call it a day. Next time is bound to be better!

To summarise: if your dog isn’t too big and knows how to behave, it is very welcome! If it’s a bit of a wildcard, then it may prefer a peaceful evening at home with your dog sitter.
